As I sit and watch a movie called Malibu’s Most Wanted with my parents, I am asked a lot of question. Not about how is school or what’s new, but question asking what the actors were saying and what do they mean by that. This movie is a comedy that uses a lot of slang. The star of the movie is a wannabe rap star from Malibu who acts and talks like he’s is from the “hood.” I understand what the actors are saying, but my parents don’t. I can see why they don’t understand it but if you are like me, you get upset when someone talks to you when I am listening to something. There are different generations, in my generation my friends and I use a lot of slang while talking to each other. For example every night at 10 o’clock, I along with several of my friends, get on AOL to talk to each other.
