Collins and Learning Styles
A single teaching strategy may help one student to achieve an A but restricts another to a C. ... This is perhaps where the Collins format is most effective for it can easily be tailored to all styles of learning and provide confidence to both the A and the C student. In the classroom, time is always allotted to begin the essay as a way of allowing me to circulate, making sure that the assignment is understood and subtly tailoring it on an individual basis for a few students who might be challenged in one way or another.
