The story of Cain and Abel can be analyzed in many different ways. ... One of the first factors thrown out into the conversation by Faye Kellerman was the question of, “did Cain really mean to physically wound his brother?” Weather he did or he didn’t, Cain was not able to hide his motives: he was jealous of Abel because he had pleased God and he had not. ... ” Under God’s eyes, Cain was not spiritually equal compared to Abel. However, does this come to show the true wickedness in human nature; that because we realize that in comparison to someone else that is very similar to ourselves, we immediately envy him or her, or even worse, we turn to violence like Cain?
