With the western influence there was a an increase in the use of shadows, the introduction of chiaroscuro (shading), clouds in the sky, sharing of nature in the drama of painted features, a different treatment of landscape, a naturalist imagery, an anatomical study of human portraitsa and above all , perspective not only from a single focal point.
