Upon scanning the newspaper from August 21, 1933, many aspects were very different and yet, many were similar to the newspapers that are delivered to our doorsteps today. ... In todays newspaper, you would easily find a similar article summarized on the front page of the newspaper. ...      This is one paper I really enjoyed writing because I felt it was interesting to see how the newspaper of this day correlated to what we were learning in class. The newspaper acted as a still, flashback picture of the busy lives of the people in 1933. Even though 1933 is not entirely too long ago, it is hard to imagine how much society and the economy has actually changed, but the newspaper project really helped me to put it into perspective.
