The Diet

The Atkins Diet is the best way to lose weight and maintain a healthy body. By controlling your carbohydrate intake you will feel more energetic and regain control of your appetite. People are used to counting calories and eating low-fat foods and even popping miracle diet pills, but we still have a problem with weight and hunger. All you need to do is simply cut down on sugar and refined carbohydrates. Those who eat a lot of carbs have their metabolism on the wrong track. Once you switch from a carbohydrate-based metabolism to a fat-based metabolism then your body will look and feel better. Writer’s Notebook Recently we had to work in small groups in class and put a speech together. I must say that at first I was dreading it. I usually don’t like working in groups because I like working independently and being totally responsible for my work.
