INTRODUCTION
Windmill insurance are quite a large sized company that that deal with most aspects of insurance and financial services such as mortgages and pension schemes.
Some of the main types of insurance policies offered by Windmill insurance services are listed below
• House insurance
• Car insurance
• Holiday insurance
• Life insurance
• Ill health insurance
• Building and contents insurance
The company currently employ 40 members of staff relying on them to carry out all actions of the work manually apart from motoring insurance quotes.
The types of work and tasks that the staff currently have to do on a day to day basis are listed below
• New and annual renewal of policies
• Collecting payments (cash, cheques and standing orders)
• Motor insurance quotes (obtained by a computer service direct to the companies)
• Pursuing claims
• New mortgages
• Investment plans

During this report I plan to look into and discuss the benefits Windmill insurance will gain from switching over to a computerised automated system instead of the current manual system that is in place.
