Science and religion are two great manifestation of human culture. ... Though science and religion have a similar way
of describing the beginning of time, there is still controversy to the present day. Science
believes that our universe was created approximately fifteen billion years ago with out a
particular cause. Astronomers describe “evolution of the entire universe, from the first
microseconds of time to the formation of the universe and the development of life”
through a theory of Big Bang. ... ” In this way science and religion are diametrically
opposed at their deepest philosophical levels having science exclude the revelation, the
soul, and, morality and in their place leave a purely material world. It is evident that
arguments most cultures have about science and religion have caused wars and other acts
of hate. ... Professor Alister Hardy said that “religion is deeply rooted in human
nature and experienced at every level of economic status and economical background.”
Religion, considered socially is, a bigger complex phenomenon than science. ... Creeds are the intellectual source of the conflict between science and religion. ...
While some individuals are atheists, the whole world is not considering the large amount
of people who follow some type of religion. ... If man was merely an accidental grouping of nucleic acid
and protein molecules, than how would these molecules miraculously developed a love of

The way in which science arrives at its beliefs is quite different form religious
conviction beliefs based mainly on what the Bible says. Science has comparable ideas
about the creation of our universe, but the interpretation of the actual events that caused
its beginning are quite different. ... The first Big Bang theorist was a
Belgian priest and mathematician named George Lemaitre. ... By
1980’s, there have been a large amount of papers published about the conditions during
the first fraction of second after the Big Bang. ...
One of the biggest opposing opinions of science and religion is that science itself
is concerned with empirical question; “scientific formulates explanations of natural world
on the basis of natural, rather than, supernatural, causes.
