Most adults drink caffeine as a part of their everyday normal routine in order to stay awake or alert. Although it is an addictive drug that manipulates your brain. Caffeine is medically known as trimethylxanthine. The chemical formula for caffeine is C8H10N4O2. It can be found in coffee beans, tea leaves, and kola nuts. Pure caffeine is taken from the process of decaffeinating coffee and tea. After being secluded in pure form, caffeine is a white crystalline substance. Caffeine is medically useful to stimulate the central nervous system and also as a mild diuretic. In the United States there is a legal limit on how much caffeine a company can put in its products. The limit is 6 mg. per liquid ounce in beverages. In Northern Thailand, it is completely illegal because it is a forerunner to meth. Many people do not think they consume caffeine, but caffeine is not just found in coffee, tea, and soft drinks but also in foods such as fruits and vegetables. Because of caffeine’s addictive personality, many adults become hooked on this drug without even knowing it. Although, it does motivate various parts of your central nervous system. One of the most important tools in a person’s life is their brain. The brain houses some of the most significant functions your body needs in order to survive. One of the brain’s biggest operations is to remember things. Your memory is essential to be able to perform your regular everyday activities such as talking, walking, moving, felling, and learning.
