Advertising has an influence on everyone in one way or another. Advertising is one of the most money-making industries in the United States. Companies must compete with one another in order to gain success. When advertisers plan their strategies for the sale of a certain product, they look at who would use the item. Advertising obviously is just an influence. Advertising influences the toys that kids want, the clothes teens wear, and the food people eat. Whatever is being sold, the advertisement is what manipulates the buyer. Today’s advertising is primarily based on sex. You see it while flipping through magazines, reading the newspaper, watching T.V., and driving past billboards. It’s everywhere! Sex is even on the clothes people wear now a day. But you know, the one thing that bugs the heck out of me is when I am on the internet for whatever reason and these naked girls out of nowhere pop up on my screen! IT’S INSANE. It’s apparent that, in today’s terms, “sex sells”. But what about those other ads? The ones that don’t have the human body all over it. How do they influence people to buy their products?
