Calculator Programming

Programming is running a sequence of commands to get a action or actions done. The reason a graphing calculator has a programming section is so that the mind my use its imagination to make whatever it desires. In this rough draft I will be outlining the “basic” calculator programming language and I will add a supplement which will consist of the assembly language. I will begin by out lining a simple guess number program and move on to one more complex programs that I have written. It is called the “ Number Guessing Game. ” At first what most programs do is use the clrhome command to clear everything from the screen. Next the program clears the graph and it turns the axes for the graph off. It then asks for a picture and pauses. The user now has to hit enter to continue as so they do. The screen of a TI-83 is 8* 16 so by using output command rather than the disp command you are making certain character(s) of choice appear in a specific place on the viewable screen. The program displays the name of the program and the maker. It then pauses again and after pressing enter the program starts a sub program.
