. first regular tvprogramm in germany - first trial transmissions were started in april 1934 - and one year later on the 22. march berlin gets his first regular tv-programm - the channel televised 3 times a week 2hours - the name of the channel was Pual Nipkow - channel started with 12 honorary employees - but after an incident at the berliner funkausstellung (Converter exploded) Paul Nipkow had to be colsed - its restarted in january 1936 - 1936 was also the year with the first live programm - in 25 free rooms with tv-sets, which were installed since 9. April 1935, Berlins and Leipzigs inhabitants were able to watch the olympic games - with the rising interest the tv-channel Pual Nipkow grow up, f.e. in 1939 it had already 43 employees - to develop the tv-technic the Peispostforschungsanstalt was founded by the Post in 1937 - this institution should bring the conditions for a better spreading and a better quality of television in germany - first improvement was brought by the 441-Lines-Receiver - bevor this it was only possible to receive 180-Lines - to compare it with today: 625 lines - 28.
