As a human being develops, from a small baby to an adult, not only does the physical part develop, but also the mental state as one goes through various experiences in life. In order to find out how things really are, it is true that one must understand the filters through which one perceives the world in order to be aware of different interpretations. Meaning that there are divers influential factors that take over the role of the filters and determine or affect how a person perceives (sees) things. ... If I had understood that I had pink glasses on from the day that I started to see, I could understand that the world was not pink. Therefore, the pink glasses that operates as a filter deceives one from seeing the real world. Experiencing that thing called reality is in my opinion only possible through ideology. Since ideology is the representational means through which we come to experience and make sense of reality. ... Having mentioned that any change could function as a filter that we look through, these filters are the factors that influence someone’s perception of reality. Culture being one of them. It involves things such as speaking, talking, myth making, development of science. ... The perception of things such as form, colour, pain, and touch may differ from culture to culture, depending on habits and customs. Something might be right to do in one country, but is not accepted in another.
