Dylan Goodwin Soc 220 Sarah AE 1) The basic research question is that young adults employed in what dual labor market theory describes as “secondary sector jobs” are more likely to engage in crime than those in more stable jobs. 2) Yes it was finding the relationship between crimes and employment status and the income and crime. It did seem appropriate because for income the study looked at if the mend had backup jobs in case of losing their regular ones. 3) Major concepts in the research were the kind of work people did and their association with crime.
