Partial-birth Abortions
A partial-birth abortion is an issue that hasn’t been brought up since 2000, when the Supreme Court didn’t pass Nebraska’s law banning this procedure. Partial-birth abortions are done in the third trimester of a women’s pregnancy. ... The leaders of this group is Pro-Choice America, a group that supports a woman’s right to choose, and they feel that if a ban is passed making this procedure illegal that we are taking away and braking the law that was passed in 1973 making abortions legal. The group totally opposed to this idea is the Pro-Life group, they feel that abortions should be done away with all together. I believe along with the Pro-Choice on the fact that abortions within the first two trimesters of pregnancy are considered legal and we don’t have the right to take away a mother’s right to choose.
