As a young Brazilian lawyer who has confronted many adversities, I am committed to enhance my skills, knowledge and credibility as an advocate. Since high school, I knew wanted to become an attorney. Now, after almost ten years passed buy, and as I look back, I realize how fortunate I am to be able to say that I enjoy what I do professionally. I graduated in law school in December of 2002, after going through -a five year- full time course at the Catholic University of Santos. At the end of the second year of law school I applied and was accepted as an intern at Praia Grande city Court House. I worked as an assistant for Judge Wilson. The Brazilian legal system give the judges jurisdiction over both civil and criminal affairs, according to the necessities at the city’s Court House. For this reason, I had the opportunity to assist in many different cases, involving from family law, to bankruptcy, going through homicides trials and robbery.
