Throughout the report you will also be made aware of the negative possibilities that computerising so that in the future the business will be aware of these problems and could perhaps overcome them.
Part 1 (Computerising the Business)
As the business calculates such details as how much insurance a customer is entitled and other calculations, it was decided that spreadsheet software would be needed as this is the best office software to use to perform calculations and store data.
During research throughout several Internet Web Sites and Computer Stores, several spreadsheet-related software was narrowed down to 1 which was decided would be the most beneficial for the business. ... It can do useful calculations such as ‘What Ifs’, which in simpler terms means that for example if a customer needed to pay a certain amount of money for insurance the spreadsheet would make it aware that the customer still owed the money and once it was paid off the spreadsheet would automatically change and stop notify that the customer needs to pay money. For the more advanced computer users of your business, a built-in program called Microsoft Visual Basic can be used to create programs that run in Excel that can perform calculations, etc with the click of a button.
