I Go Along
I Go Along is the story of a boy, Gene, whose life is changing before his very eyes. ...
When I first came to Lindsay Place in grade 7, I didn’t know anyone. I spent weeks before the first day worrying, and accumulating high doubts as to how I would ever fit in, and start from scratch. When I first got there, a few people from my bus showed me where to go and what to do, but seeing as they were a year older than me, I had no one to actually stay with after that. I automatically rushed to judgment when I saw all the unfamiliar faces, and tried to predict who would be the type of people that I could relate to and be friends with. In the end, I found made a lot of friends and pushed my worries aside.
