After reading the futuristic, science fiction book, “1984” by George Orwell, I came to the conclusion that it is a classic. ... This book is about the government taking over the lives of everyone, and as long as there are people, there will be a government. ... This book was written in 1948, has remained a widely read book for more than 50 years, and will undoubtedly continue to its popularity.
The way that George Orwell wrote “1984” is truly in the form of a classic. ... Unlike other stories with aliens and whatnot, this book was about the lives of actual people. ... Even though this book was entitled “1984”, it pertains to any time period, some more so than others. In our current generation, we can completely relate to this book. ... I can be almost positive that in future years, this will become more evident and “1984” will relate to that time period more and more. ...
This book takes place in the year 1984, or like the 1984 that George Orwell thought it would be in 1948.
