LEADERS AND STRONG MORALS
When some hear the term leader, they probably think of a person who exhibits those principles and traits that cause that individual to rise above the rest. Having strong morals is one trait that gets little recognition in today’s society. Many believe that it is not necessary to have strong morals to lead others. A leader possesses morals when they are concerned with what is right and what is wrong. Having strong morals in the workplace, community, and in private life, is the foundation of a great leader.
Perhaps strong morals are not necessary to be a great leader, because some would say that there were many great leaders who were tainted with improprieties such as adultery, deceit, fraud and were cold-hearted toward their fellow man. ... We can now see that a leader should place morals at the top of his list in the workplace. ... When leaders have no morals in the workplace, those around them tend to follow suit. ...
It is important to maintain high morals behind closed doors as well as in the open.
