It is a brand new school with nearly all the technological features you could ask for while at the same time serving a very rural population. The city of Riverton and its surrounding areas have only recently become populated enough to support a high school. It was mainly an area for ranchers and cowboys, many of which still abide in the area. Located in the southwest region of the Salt Lake valley with very few minorities. At our orientation of the school we were told that only 5% of the entire student body was a minority. This small percentage is mainly composed of African Americans, American Indians and Asians.
