The definition of serendipity is the faculty or happenstance of finding valuable things by accident--like the three princes of Serendip in the Persian fairy tale. This is usually a fairly rare occurrence and there are many tales about those who have experienced serendipity, but how exactly does it happen? Furthermore, is there some possible way to acquire a procedure to access serendipity, or to be able to come into contact with it on more than one occasion? ... I realized that serendipity is not some unexplained occasion that happens when you come about to “be shown a momentary glimpse of the secrets of the universe” (Wheatly, 52). ... Therefore, serendipity can be a way of life in that everything is based on relationships. ...
