What makes a good leader
I think that I am a good leader. ... Bledsoe defined leadership as “the art or process of a leader influencing the group toward a mutually agreed upon goal. ... The leader is supposed to make it easy for the group to achieve what the group wants to achieve by doing the things that the group cannot. The members of the group, however, must accept the leader as their leader in order for the leader to guide them. Some of the reasons why a group should accept a leader is because the leader knows the group, is visible in the group, has proven to be an effective problem-solver, is persuasive, and is well-liked. A leader must know certain things about him/herself as well. A leader must know his/her own interests and abilities, limits, uniqueness. ... I could not agree with him more when he said that attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ... I do place a high value on relationships because I think every leader should be able to develop good, strong relationships. ... Every leader should be able to step aside and let decisions and plans be made together as a team. ... I feel as if every good leader should be able to be honest and express themselves.
