Nick Knight is one of the most widely acknowledged and respected fashion photographers of our time. He has worked along side the likes of John Galliano, Simon Foxton and Alexanda McQueen to create the most spectacular and memorable images. His work is often computer manipulated, pre-arranged and never without beauty as its main objective. I find his work captivating, full of imagination and very unique, no one is quite like him. This particular image is of Tatjana Patitz and was the last shot of ... Cornelia Parker and Jacques Mahe de la Villegle were one of the many artists that interested me as I walked through the Tate Modern. Although their art work was produced thirty years apart, Parkers in 1991 and Villegles in 1961 both have similarities in using recycled goods to produce a fine composition. Cornelia Parker, a British born artist is best known for Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View the piece I saw at the Tate that interested me, this was created in 1991, she since has created a number of other large installations using contemporary themes and materials such as the Maybe (1995 SepentineGallery).
