The story is about hopes and dreams. Unfortunately it is not so common for dreams to come true. Usually there are setbacks that prevent us from fulfilling our dreams. Whether it is an economic or a social situation, or thinking about someone else, it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to ignore these things, leave everything behind and chase a dream we have. This is the case in the story “Of Mice and Men”. The main characters –George and Lenny; there are many differences between them. George is small and skinny man but very sharp and Lennie is physically big but intelligently poor. One might assume they couldn’t have make it together as good friends but in this story it turns out that this kind of relationship is possible. In fact in some part of the story the author suggests that there is more than just a friendship in the connection between them.
