The Truth Behind The Roswell Cover-Up
The supposed UFO crash on the 4th of July of 1947 in the New Mexico desert in the vicinity of Roswell, is nothing more than a crash of a modified weather balloon that was involved in a secret United States government project run by the Army codenamed Project Mogul (“Incident” 1). ... That and other evidence will prove that a something did crash in the desert around Roswell but it was not a UFO but a balloon from a secret military project. ... Starting with Major Jesse Marcel and one of his commanders, Brigadier General Roger Ramey, Marcel claims the debris that was found was actually that of a UFO and Ramey says that it was a weather balloon (Gildenberg 68-69), which we now know from declassified documents is a cover story for Project Mogul. Some of the witnesses such as Frank Kaufmann a civilian employee at the Roswell Air Base claim to have seen alien bodies strewn about the wreckage (Levine 56), but no solid evidence has ever been put forth showing this. ... Now this also shows that there was a government cover-up, which would be what happened if something that was part of a secret military project had crashed, it was top secret, so they would have to come up for a cover story for it. ... One of the Project Mogul balloons was launched on June 4th from the airfield at Roswell, about a month prior to when the supposed crashed UFO was found south of Roswell. ...
Some witnesses claim to have seen bodies but their memories of that almost certainly have changed over time and in fact they probably recall seeing them years later, because this is when other secret military projects were being conducted in the Roswell area, these two projects codenamed High Dive and Excelsior.
