For my period 4 class: Go to www.sciencenewsforkids.org and scroll down to Earth articles. Go to "Quick Quake Alerts" an article from May 7, 2003 and answer the following questions- 1) What is the difference between P waves and S waves? P waves are first to come and s waves follow. S waves are more dangerous. S waves travel half as fast and shake the ground side to side. 2) What has Richard Allen been analyzing?
