The topic’s I selected was Rockefeller’s accomplishments and achievements. Rockefeller was one of the first major Philanthropists in the United States establishing many foundations in America. Rockefeller, Maurice B. Clark, and Samuel Andrews together built and operated an oil refinery with the name Andrews, Clark and Co. Unfortunately with disagreement about the management of their business affairs they decided to sell the business to whoever amongst them had the highest bid, Rockefeller had bought the business for $72,500. Rockefeller had started his business with his partner Samuel Andrews and called the company Rockefeller & Andrews.
