Legal Reform and its Efforts
Legal reform always seems to be a topic of discussion in this country. In reading the article entitled, “The case for needed legal reform”, by Spencer Abraham, I will examine the efforts of legal reform and what role it plays in today’s society. The reason I chose this article is to simply look at some examples of legal reform efforts in this country, how it can affect certain parts of our society, and how it changes our current laws. ... Legal reform efforts in this country are becoming a burden on the American taxpayer, empowering judges, and rewarding the criminals of this society by allowing them to commit more crimes.
The first key point, made by the author, is that our legal system is expensive and the burden is falling upon the shoulders of our citizens.
