From Foundation to Love
One of the many dilemmas in the world that has faced humanity with a difficult question is focused around the meaning of life. ... The movie, Life As A House, attempts to answer this question using modern illustrations. As in the title, the movie gives moral guidelines to the question of what it means to live through troubles and tribulations as well as relating life to a simple house. The building of a house, as in the movie, can provide definite answers for what it means to live.
To begin, it is important to acknowledge that a house would lack stability if it were not for its foundation. In the movie, this stabilization can be seen from George’s family, who before knowing his goal of building a house before cancer ends his life, they come together from there separate ways and differences to help George rebuild his child-hood beach house. However, this sense of stability is not seen from the production of the house alone.
