In the progress of Ender’s character, Ender created his own distinct personality through battling tough situations. In “Ender’s Game”, by Orson Scott Card, I feel I am similar and different to Ender in the situations of handling battle school, leaving my family and representing the ultimate good or evil. In this paper I will represent myself with Ender in these circumstances. Foremost, I am similar and different to Ender when it comes to handling battle school. I am similar because just as Ender did, I would be reluctant to going. But, then when I would hear that the existence of Earth depended on me, I would most likely change my mind and go. I am different than him because I don’t think that I could handle all of the pressure to be the best. The isolation, academic stress and being hated by others would drive me insane, just as Ender was brought up to that level too.
