The speaker in Emily Dickinsons poem, "Becuase I Could Not Stop For Death", has a sincere and greatful attitude towards death at the begining of the poem. As the speaker goes through her realization of whats reality and whats not, her attitude towards death changes. The speaker begins personifying death as a gentleman who is considerate and polit in every way possible. ... " Her attitude towards death is sincere and greatful because he makes her happy by doing these things like taking her on a ride in which she notices other things that too make her happy.
