What popular music means to me?

Why do we like music? ... We are all reluctant, with regard to music and art, to examine our sources of pleasure and strength. Somewhat we fear success itself- we fear that understanding itself might spoil music enjoyment, most people spend a lot of time listening to music everyday, this may be by choice or not, music is everywhere. Listening to music is considered by most to be a pleasurable, positive, or sought after experience, although negative emotions as well as positive, happy and joyful emotions can be produced.
