Today’s business world demands skilled professionals who are comfortable working in teams. In order to promote growth and comfort within the team environment, the University of Phoenix has embraced Learning Teams as a core component of its curriculum. Teams come in many different compositions and serve numerous purposes within the business and academic worlds. There are certain characteristics of teams in general that allow them to operate at a higher level of performance than others teams lacking these skills.
