TURKEY SHOOT Theatrically released in 1982, Turkey Shoot was an ultraviolent no-budget shlockfest that gathered a cult following amongst gorehounds and is often cited as one of the worst Australian films ever made. Here we present the cheat notes to bluff your way through a new-found appreciation of a film you’ll never see. Set in the bleak future of the Year 1995...after the obligatory holocaust has laid waste to the planet...survivors unwilling to conform to a brutal new dictatorship are rounded up and placed in Behaviour Modification Camps. These are places of profound suffering where the cast live through the horror of saying “yes” to their agents without first giving the script a cursory glance.
