Movie Review A League of Their Own – Producer: Elliot Abbott Directors: Penny Marshall, Robert Greenhut Copyright: 1992 This movie starts in a little town, where two young adults, one married, one still single, live on the ranch with their family, during WWII. These two sisters, Dottie and Kit love baseball, and play on a community league. A sarcastic scout recruits Dottie for the All-American Girls Baseball league, but she wont go without her little sister. They go for try outs, and make it to the league. They get mocked and ridiculed by the fans, while the men are at war. Dottie and her sister are playing on the same team, but soon, Kit gets transferred because of too much sibling turmoil. The coach of the team is a washed up baseball player who drinks too much, and he doesn’t start taking the team serious until the middle of the season.
