Piracy has been a problem ever since the internet has saturated into the American culture. The rising number of pirated songs available has put increasing concern on record labels, music stores, and music industry in general. With the quickly advancing world of technology and the even more widespread popularity of file sharing we have seen this “MP3” fad grow enormously. Anyone with an internet connection can now access MP3 databases at anytime of the day. I have been downloading music since 2000 and have been an avid supporter of file sharing since then.
