It’s amazing to think that Eminem is getting this strong reaction from the media for his lyrics even though there have been violent themes throughout music history. He is the first one to create such controversy and media hype over it: “/They are “actin like Im the first rapper to smack a bitch, or say faggot/” (White America) Eminem has been criticized many times for his offensive and violent lyrics. ... These lines summarize Eminem’s point of view on the subject:
