Review of Harris and Me by Gary Paulson
This is an excellent book written by Gary Paulson. ... The Larson’s family consist of a Mother; Clair, a father; Knute, and a young boy named Harris who is big on energy and low on caution. Immediately Harris is drawn to me (there is no actual name for the young boy who moves in with the Larson’s) and they begin to grow a strong friendship. ... So after Me is done eating, Harris leads him out side to “bring in the cows” as Harris put it, but they are really going out back to have a smoke. ... So when they get back to the back of the barn Harris gets out some rolling papers and some tobacco he stole from Knute.
