But what does Jonah do? ...
You see Jonah wasn’t content with hiding behind a bush, he wanted to get as far away as he could from God, to create enough distance so it would make it impossible for him to fulfill his mission. But God does not give up on Jonah. The man has a mission to fulfill and as Jonah is starting to learn, firstly on the boat and as we will soon discover, inside the belly of a whale, you cannot hide from God.
