The only specific requirement that we ask of you is that you dedicate six hours per week (including lecture attendance) to this module. How you achieve your learning objectives is very much up to you. The weekly guide will contain a full menu of learning resources from which you can select those that you feel will best help you learn the subject in hand. We do not expect you to work religiously through the whole menu but to pick and choose those items which will best help you achieve your objectives. Students learn in different ways and the learning resource/method that is good for one student may not be appropriate for another. One student may find the textbook to be his/her main source of learning while another will prefer the computer based learning packages.
