Hollywood…Many things come to mind when that word appears in a conversation. ... When we hear the word Hollywood, we think stars, the rich and the famous.
In this essay we will explore the ‘Hollywood Studio System’ and how it shows that how in the past it was referred to as a ‘Factory’ and even today it is referred to as a factory. We will look at how and why this has changed and delve into the lives of stars to see how they maintained a level of independence through this demanding system of work. ...
