The Borrowers keeps on getting better and better. Pod and Homily have not been telling Arrietty, their daughter the truth. They tell her lies like the sky is wood floors. They do this to keep her from going out to the real world. They don’t want to have her get seen by humans or get eaten by a cat…or else the family will have to move to another house witch is very hard to do. That is how many borrowers die. They never told Arrietty that there was such thing other than where the live (under the floor). All Arrietty knows is that the world is under the floor. Pod and Homily decide it is time to tell their daughter about the real world, and how she should never go there.
