and to all of his friends who came from far and near to show respect to him, and support to his family in their time of sorrow and bereavement. I am privileged and honored to be able to speak at this time on behalf of my friend. As there are many who can make memorable tributes to such a compassionate and professional individual, whose legend will truly be undying in the hearts of us who knew and loved him. I speak of Mike today, a friend of thirty-two years, with much pain in my heart; I am now burdened with sorrow. I wish that I could take you to the deeper silence of my soul that holds the true memories of our friendship, where Mike and I danced to the joy of a beautiful relationship that reflected only honesty and truth towards each other. Unfortunately, I cannot take you there. They are my secret memories. If I try to convert them into words only half of the story could be told. But, I would ask you though; to listen with your hearts, and as Mike’s memories caresses your hearts, know that the pain that you feel is also the joy that you feel – you cannot separate them, they are one. Trust your soul, it knows that Mike will always be with us… “Low I will be with you, always.” – taken from the word. For this reason, I come today not too burry but to praise Mike. How could I burry or erase the trails of a good man when he has impacted the lives of many with his kindness, and helpful nature, in this here Abaco, from Crown Haven to Hope Town and from Marsh Harbour to Sandy Point.
