Night Elie Wiesel had a hard life. He was one of the fortunate few that survived the holocaust. At the age of only fifteen he lost his dad, mom, and his sister. Through out his trip he heard a lot of advice from other Jews but this one stayed with him and affected him the most, “To die was easy”. The quote has one meaning and that is, to die was the easy way out. Elie and his dad stuck together though out the whole time they were at the camp. Their relationship grew more and more everyday considering that they never knew if they were going to all of sudden get sent to the furnace, and leave each other behind.
