1. This Topic (Global Censorship) reveals the ways in which the Government can control the amount of specific information that goes into public. It also shows some of the world?s most restricted countries, as far as the access to the information is. In some of them the access to info is so limited that the majority of a nation citizens are not even aware of what is going on in their own country. This Topic also talks about the latest technologies which the Government uses to prevent info fallen into the wrong hands. 2. What are the world?s most restricted countries in ways of information? In real case almost every country in the world restricts the public information in some ways. If it is a small restriction then we either don?t see it or we don?t really care for it, but for this moment out there in the world there are some countries that can be classified as very restricted in ways of information. Located most in the Middle East and the Caribbean these countries are: Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, North Korea, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Libya, Algeria, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Tonga, Vanuatu, Federal States of Micronesia, Colombia, and Cuba. In some of these countries, especially in the Middle East, the citizens do not have the access to the info because of the Government?s attempt to do so, but in the same time in countries like Tonga, Haiti or Tajikistan the majority of the population is very poor, and according to the WGSM (World Geographic Society Magazine) their income is so low that they can hardly afford to buy a simple TV set or even a radio.
