A) In today’s increasingly globalised world states can find it hard to sustain core
values like security, freedom, order, justice and welfare. This is not to say though
that they cant, in fact with today’s globalised world some states actually find it
easier to sustain these core values. Also, some of these core values are easier to
provide than others. ...
Given today’s globlalised world, states have tried to work together in order to
provide its own citizens values like security and freedom. ... Both these institutions are a loose alliance of states
whose main aim is to provide security to its citizens. It is a clear example of states
working together instead of each state working independently towards defending
itself from foreign powers. This way states have been able to concentrate on other
values much more rather than on just ways to defend itself i. ... security. ... Global commodities like
diamonds, drugs, tea, coffee etc have provided funds for warring factions. ... This goes to show that increasing globalisation
can in fact help states maintain the core values, although not in all circumstances.
