“A belief is what we accept as truth” (J. ... Apps)
A belief is simply defined as being what we accept as truth. Even more significant then stating the definition of a belief is to question what else a belief simply could be. While we do accept them as truths, we also accept that our truths throughout history have not been without fault. ... Aside from that, there is no other way in which we can accept a belief. You can not have a belief that you do not believe to be true. To do so, would make your statement cease to be a belief by definition.
While the semantics of a belief hold little concern to me, something that does draw my attention is the concept of truth.
