A Helper There aren’t that many work offers available for people who don’t graduate grade school or high school. People with this kind of background often land on low class jobs or blue-collar jobs. It’s the only work which people find them capable of doing. It’s a sad reality but it is the case. Education is really important. I never graduated school. I’m 56 years old. I am a widow. I have a son whose studying right now. I work as a helper or laundry woman. It’s not the most wonderful of jobs but it keeps me alive. I don’t have a husband anymore so I’m the only one really supporting myself. It’s hard but I have to do it, not only for myself but also for my son’s future. I have had other jobs before. I once worked as a baby sitter for a couple named Mr. and Mrs. Lim. They were very good to me. I worked with them for nineteen long and wonderful years. I met my husband in their household. He was also a helper. We got married and had a son. Those were the wonderful years of my life. After having my baby, I gave up working for awhile.
