One day Helen and her teacher, Annie Sullivan, were out at a water pump at the Keller residence and Annie was slowly spelling w-a-t-e-r in Helen’s hand, and simultaneously pumping water into her other hand, and eventually, Helen found out that everything had a name. Thus, began Helen’s true life.
